Scunthorpe have confirmed the signing of Jack King from Preston on a free transfer.
The 29-year old signs on for the Iron from Preston, a club he has been at since 2012. He will move to Scunthorpe at the end of June, when his current deal runs out.
He can play in numerous positions, as shown during his time at Deepdale and in total he made 104 appearances for the Lilywhites during his time there.
However, with the club making the step up to the Championship, they have decided to let him go and he now finds himself putting pen-to-paper on a two-year deal at Glanford Park.
He becomes Scunthorpe’s second signing of the summer so far.
