Lee Croft to return to Boundary Park

Oldham have agreed a deal to sign Lee Croft on 1 July.

The midfielder currently plays for St Johnstone in Scotland but he has put pen-to-paper on a pre-contract agreement with the League 1 side and he will make the move when the transfer window officially opens.

This isn’t the first time the 29-year old has played for Oldham – he played for the club on two previous occasions back in the 2004/05 season and in 2012/13.

Croft himself is extremely pleased to be making the move back to Boundary Park, as he claimed it was like “coming home.”

He is new Latics boss Darren Kelly’s first signing at the club and there is sure to be more to come over the coming months.
