As the Premier League comes to a close, it starts to become incredibly interesting, with lots of twists, turns and stories popping up all over the place.

Down at St. Andrews, however, all is quiet.

No football, no new rumours, nobody else leaving just yet.

It’s all a bit eerie, but really, it’s good news. There is a sense of calm at the moment, with the financial news that has emerged yesterday supposedly being good news, nobody new being linked with Gray and Randolph means they may be more likely to extend their stay.

But on the flip side, there are few exciting transfer rumours, no players signing new contracts. For now, we must wait, and hope that Villa go down and that Rowett has a plan.

I’d love to tell you that Blues are about to bring in a quality striker, an exciting winger or a solid centre-half, but for now, it’s all quiet.

Let’s just hope that sooner or later, we will have some positive stories and we’re not losing some very good players.
