Gareth Ainsworth’s first choice keeper, Matt Ingram, looks set to return from injury after missing the first leg of this playoff fixture and his first game in 111 consecutive appearances with a knee injury. Alex Lynch will drop to the bench if Ingram is fit enough to appear for the Chairboy’s.

Meanwhile Wycombe’s leading goalscorer Paul Hayes has recovered from the head injury that forced him off at Home Park.

Ainsworth insists his side will be looking to attack the Pilgrim’s and speaking to the Club website he wants to make the town proud. He said, “It would mean so much to the whole town, not just the club, if we were able to reach the final but we know we have a huge challenge ahead of us in the second leg.”

Plymouth Argyle

Pilgrim’s Manager John Sheridan will face a selection headache ahead of tonight’s fixture at Adam’s Park after his sides late recovery on Saturday.

Whilst there are no new injury worries for Argyle, the 50 year-old has a tough decision on his attacking options after substitutes Zak Ansah and Jason Banton both scored vital goals to keep Wembley dreams alive.

The Green Army have sold out the full allocation of 2,100 and will be in fine voice in Buckinghamshire.

Reuben Reid looks set to keep his place upfront after questions about the strikers fitness and form. Whilst Reid has scored 20 so far this season, he has not scored from open play since a brace away to Cheltenham on March 28th. Sheridan told BBC Sport that, “No-one needs to mention Reuben Reid to me. Everyone keeps talking about Reuben because he hasn’t scored – he’s scored 20 goals this season, that’s what I look at.

“He was excellent at Wycombe when we played there (when the Pilgrims won convincingly 2-0) so whether I pick him will be my decision.

“Wycombe will make life difficult for us but we’ll go there and give it our best shot.”
