According to reports, Reading are looking at a possible deal to bring Benfica striker Bebe back to England.

Bebe, who was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2010 for £7.4 million, played seven games in four years at Old Trafford – but has since become known as something of a flop due to the trajectory of his career.

After a successful loan spell at Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira scoring 14 in 39, the football world thought the striker was finally showing his potential.

Upon seeing this form, Benfica came in for the Portuguese forward in 2014, snapping up the striker for around £2.1 million, but again Bebe has struggled to lock down a first team place.

Six appearances without a goal for Benfica led to a loan move to Cordoba which is where Bebe is currently situated, but goals are still a struggle for the 24 year-old, as he has played 16 times for the Spanish outfit and failed to find net once.

Still a young player, Reading could be seeing the same talent with made Sir Alex Ferguson spend so much money five years ago.
