Loan move

Michael Appleton’s side have allowed him to head to Gainsborough to get some regular football and it will be interesting to see how he gets on in non-league.

Brooks is seen as one for the future and the experience of playing senior football at the age of 17 will only be a good thing for his development.

He helped his new side win on his debut yesterday but his parent club Lincoln were beaten by out-of-form Ipswich Town at Sincil Bank 1-0.
