‘Different player today’ – Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans hail ‘quality’ player performance v Huddersfield Town

Nottingham Forest won 2-0 away at Huddersfield Town in the Championship this afternoon.

Nottingham Forest travelled to Huddersfield Town today, having parted ways with Chris Hughton in the week following a dreadful start to the campaign.

The Reds went into today rooted to the bottom of the second-tier table having claimed just one point from their opening seven games of the campaign.

But caretaker manager Steven Reid stepped in and gave the team a shake-up, and Forest would find themselves in front after 22 minutes thanks to a goal from Lewis Grabban.

An own goal from Town’s Lee Nicholls in the second half handed Forest an impressive away win – the three points sees them remain at the bottom of the table but now only one more win from safety.

Plenty of names impressed today but Ryan Yates took a lot of plaudits. The 23-year-old seemingly flourished in what was a more noticeably attacking team, with the midfielder now having featured in all eight Championship games so far this season.
