Peterborough manager Dave Robertson hopes to get his side’s challenge for the League One play-offs back on track as Walsall visit London Road on Monday.

Posh are boosted by the return of winger Jon Taylor, who missed the defeat to Scunthorpe with a knee injury. Marcus Maddison and Jack Payne also missed the trip to Glanford Park and will be assessed ahead of Monday’s clash. Defender Gaby Zakuani, who left the pitch after 15 minutes with a head injury, is expected to return to the squad as Peterborough look to recover from back-to-back defeats. Posh striker Luke James, who was an unused substitute in the defeat to Scunthorpe, could also start against the Saddlers.

Walsall can expect to see the return of 17 year old left back Rico Henry, after he returned to training following a dislocated shoulder. Walsall’s lack of fire power has left them just 3 points above the League One relegation zone and, having only scored 4 goals in their last 11 games, they will continue to be without top scorer Tom Bradshaw. The striker was ruled out of the Easter fixtures with a hamstring injury and is targeting a return next weekend.
