Kenwyne Jones set for Bournemouth move

Bournemouth are reportedly close to completing the loan signing of Cardiff striker Kenwyne Jones.

According to The Sun, a deal is all but done for the 30 year old to complete a move to Dean Court. The former Stoke and Sunderland man has scored 11 goals in 34 league appearances for Cardiff this season and with the Bluebirds safe in mid-table, Russell Slade will allow the striker to leave on a temporary basis. Matthew Connolly was also allowed to leave the Welsh club in the past few days, joining Watford on loan.

Eddie Howe will be hoping Jones can help the Cherries in their promotion push. His side are currently 1 point clear at the top of the Championship table with 7 games to play.
