Still staying positive despite poor form

Luton Town boss John Still is remaining positive despite the Hatters’ recent poor form.

The Bedfordshire club have lost 5 of their last 6 games and their focus has now shifted from automatic promotion to keeping their place in the play-offs. Still’s men are now just 2 points ahead of Stevenage in 8th. However, the man who led Luton to the Conference Premier title last season was happy with his side’s performance, despite slumping to a 2-0 defeat against Portsmouth. He told LutonToday ““We’ve lost some games lately when we’ve been disappointing and I was disappointed to lose, but thought our performance was like a Luton performance. We’ve got to produce that every week between now and the end of the season.”

Luton are back in action on Tuesday as they face a trip to Newport County, who are just 2 points outside of the play-off spots.
