Jamie Mackie: Bradford City’s win at Chelsea was no fluke

It seems that the true threat that Bradford City pose in the F.A. Cup has just hit Jamie Mackie.

Mackie, who is currently on loan at Reading FC from Nottingham Forest has, in many perspectives, had a great season.

The forward said “It’s not a fluke they keep doing it, they are a good side.”

He went on to dismiss that it is down to their pitch and fans at home, and credited them for their away win at Stamford Bridge.

“It’s easy for people to point to the pitch and their fans at home, but they went away to the Bridge and won which is fantastic.

He then talked about his sides recent game away at Valley Parade, “It was an extremely tough place to go. We dug in the other night at Bolton, showed we have got character in the side, and we did it again on Saturday.”

The F.A. Cup replay will be held at the Madejski Stadium on March 16.
