Cisak Extends Orient Stay

Goalkeeper Alex Cisak has signed for Leyton Orient until the end of the season.

The Burnley keeper first signed on for a month in February and has made seven appearances for the club. League One Orient have surprisingly struggled this season after reaching the play-off final last season and find themselves inside the relegation zone.

The 25 year-old Australian has appeared for eight clubs during his short career and joined Burnley in 2013. However, he has struggled for game time at Turf Moor and joined York City earlier in the season, playing ten times for the League Two side. He told the Leyton Orient website:

“I am happy to have extended my stay and get a few more games under my belt. “I have been in a relegation battle before with Oldham so I have experienced it before and hopefully I can bring that knowledge of when we stayed up there to the boys here.”

Leyton Orient face bottom of the table Yeovil Town on Saturday, one point from safety.
