GOAL OF THE WEEKEND: Luke Guttridge – Luton Town
There were a few tidy finishes this weekend but take a bow Luke Guttridge, what a show-stopping strike. He picks the ball up, takes on a midfielder before smashing the ball home from 30-yards out, a wonderful effort that gave Luton the lead against Newport County.
The two League Two sides traded blows before the Hatters eventually pulled away for a 4-2 victory. John Still’s men have been excellent in the league and a good cup run can only stand them in good stead, any more wonderful goals like Guttridge’s and they might not be able to fit the fans into their stadium for the next home game.
