Hull City could let 2023 signing move on for new challenge elsewhere

Hull City could cut ties with goalkeeper Ryan Allsop this summer, as detailed in a report by HullLive.

Hull City are expected to use Ivor Pandur as their number one next season which could see Allsop head out the exit door. They also have Matt Ingram and Harvey Cartwright as their other goalkeeping options so they are well stocked up with options in that department.

Allsop, 31, moved to East Yorkshire on a two-year deal 12 months ago and made 37 appearances in all competitions in the last campaign. However, his future is now up in the air ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

In this latest update from HullLive, the stopper may ‘move on’ as the Tigers’ new boss Tim Walter looks to put his own stamp on the squad. The former Holstein Kiel, Stuttgart and Hamburg man has replaced Liam Rosenior in the dugout at the MKM Stadium.

Allsop was a Rosenior signing and is a ‘keeper who likes to have the ball at his feet.

It remains to be seen whether he will suit Walter’s style of play and if he doesn’t, most signs point towards him heading out the exit door for a new challenge elsewhere.

There could be both comings and goings from the Tigers and it is yet to be known whether Allsop will be staying put.

The Tigers finished 7th in the table last term, three points off the play-offs.
