Scottish side yet to receive contact regarding reported Swansea City and Hull City target

St Johnstone are yet to receive any offers for Swansea City and Hull City-linked Adama Sidebeh this summer, as per a report by The Courier.

The Scottish Premiership side could face a battle to keep hold of the striker in the upcoming transfer window. He has caught the eye since joining his current club back in January.

Sidebeh, 25, is on the radar of Swansea City and Hull City according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon. In addition, fellow Championship sides like Derby County, Middlesbrough and Burnley have been mentioned as potential suitors in a report by Football Insider, as well as French Ligue 2 outfit Metz.

However, this latest update regarding his situation, The Courier claim St Johnstone have received no bids or contact from any external source in regards to their attacker. They will be keen to keep hold of him if they can ahead of next season after they finished 10th out of 12.

Sidebeh is under contract with the Saints until 2026 meaning that they are under no pressure to cash in on him anytime soon and can wait for the right offer to come in for him if they are to consider the idea of letting him go.

The Gambia international played in non-league for Cheadle Heath Nomads, AFC Blackpool and Warrington Rylands before moving up to Scotland. He was a hit with the latter in the Northern Premier League under the now Macclesfield boss Michael Clegg.

Prior to his switch to the UK, he played in his native country for Marimoo FC and Gambia Ports Authority FC.

He has adapted well to life at St Johnstone and has scored five goals in 15 games for them so far.

Sidebeh helped the Perth club secure their top flight status but it remains to be seen whether he will still be with them next term amid reported attention from below the border.
