Watford will be hoping Morris is fit to face Leeds as he provides competition and depth to their defensive department.

The left-back, who is under contract at Vicarage Road until the summer of 2026, has made 14 appearances in all competitions, 10 of which have come in the league.

He joined the Hertfordshire outfit in 2021 and has since played 29 matches altogether.

Prior to his switch to his current club, he rose up through the ranks at Southampton’s academy. He was a regular for the Saints at various youth levels but didn’t make a first-team appearance for the Saints before he was released.

Watford took a gamble on him after he left St Mary’s and he has turned out to be a useful addition for them.

Cleverley is in caretaker charge of the Hornets until the summer following Valerien Ismael’s exit.

They sacked the ex-Barnsley and West Brom man after a poor run of form and they are currently sat in 13th place in the table.

Watford are nine points above the drop zone but head into their match against Leeds on the back of their 1-0 away win at Birmingham City last time out after Emmanuel Dennis’ winner.
