Bolton Wanderers selection latest

Bolton will obviously want Jones ready and available against Stevenage but he has done a lot of travelling this week.

He has been a regular for the Trotters this season and has made 38 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with two goals.

Jones, who represented Wales as a youngster before switching to Australia, has been on the books at the Toughsheet Community Stadium since 2020.

He joined the North West outfit when they were in League Two and helped them gain promotion in his first year. Prior to his move, he played for the likes of Everton, Fleetwood Town and Carlisle United.

The defender has made Bolton his home over recent years and is under contract until 2025 as he looks to help them gain promotion to the Championship.

Jones was born Down Under in Perth and made his Australia debut in January against Bahrain.

The Trotters lost 1-0 away at Derby County last time out and will be keen to bounce back with a win at Stevenage. They are four points behind the top two with a game in-hand on the Rams.
