Watford attacker Michael Adu-Poku has returned from his loan at Kings Langley, as detailed on their official club website.

Adu-Poku, 18, has since made four appearances for the Southern League Premier Division One Central outfit.

The Hornets have now confirmed he is back at Vicarage Road.

Watford have a decision to make on what to do with Adu-Poku next, whether that be to keep hold of him or loan him out somewhere else.

The Championship side gave him the green light to link up with Kings Langley to get some experience under his belt.

Even though he didn’t score, he will still have benefitted from getting some senior minutes.

The teenager has been on the books of the Hornets since 2018 and has risen up through their ranks.

He was handed his first professional deal last summer running until 2025, with the club holding an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months on top of that which shows he is highly-rated.

Adu-Poku has featured for both the Under-18’s and Under-21’s over recent years and has played twice for the first-team so far in his career, one against Reading in the league and the other against Rotherham United in the FA Cup.

He has returned to a Watford team now who have Tom Cleverley in interim charge following their decision to part company with former Barnsley and West Brom boss Valerien Ismael.

They won 1-0 away at Birmingham City last time out with Emmanuel Dennis scoring the winner.

The Hornets are back in action after the international break with a home clash against table toppers Leeds United.
