‘Sometimes’ – QPR man admits he has attracted transfer interest from elsewhere

QPR striker Lyndon Dykes has admitted there is ‘sometimes’ interest in him from elsewhere.

QPR’s attacker has insisted he is fully focussed on their bid for Championship survival.

Dykes, 28, has scored five goals in 32 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

He has said other clubs take a look at him occasionally, as per an interview with Football League World: “There is interest sometimes, there is interest here and there, but at this moment in time I’m a QPR player and I’m focussed on making sure this season we do not go down.”

Dykes penned a new contract with QPR last summer running until June 2026.

They are under no pressure to cash in on him anytime soon unless an offer that they can’t refuse comes in for his services.

His future would be flung up in the air if the Hoops are relegated to League One though.

Dykes has been on the books of the London outfit since August 2020 and has since played 151 matches, finding the net on 34 occasions.
