Christy Pym will keep his place between the sticks for Mansfield and he has kept 14 clean sheets in this campaign in all competitions.

In defence, the backline should stay the same from the win at Bradford. Jordan Bowery has enjoyed his new role at right-back this term, whilst Aden Flint has been a key player since his switch to Field Mill last summer.

Clough has a few different options to pick from in the heart of midfield. He is likely to go for Louis Reed, Hiram Boateng and Stephen Quinn again, with George Maris providing back-up.

Davis Keillor-Dunn has been in fine form this season for the Stags and has 19 goals and eight assists to his name so he will be eager to cause Colchester some problems.

Up front, Lucas Akins and Will Swan could get the nod like they did at Valley Parade. James Gale and Tom Nichols are alternative options on the bench.
