Key man back in: Stockport County team news and predicted XI to face MK Dons

The latest Stockport County team news as Dave Challinor’s side gear up to face MK Dons in League Two.

Stockport County head into their upcoming League Two clash following their 1-1 away draw at Crawley Town.

The Hatters have won only once in their last seven league outings.

They remain 2nd in the table though behind Mansfield Town.

Ben Hinchliffe has been ever-present for Stockport in goal and has kept 13 clean sheets this season.

The backline should stay the same for the Hatters. Todd Kane, who has recently joined on a free transfer, has played in their last two matches against Salford City and Crawley and has been a calming influence.

Ibou Touray is poised to start again with Minnesota United loan man Bristow sidelined.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Paddy Madden thrown into the starting XI after he was on the bench last Monday. Callum Camps and Antoni Sarcevic are likely to get the nod again.

Challinor has a decision to make whether to play Odin Bailey or Aston Villa loanee Rico Richards.

Up front, Kyle Wootton and Isaac Olaofe will be eager to cause MK Dons some problems.

Stockport will be keen to turn their fortunes around and start picking up more wins. They risk dropping out of the top three unless they can find their feet again.

The Dons will be tough opponents and head to Edgeley Park in confident mood after beating Crewe Alexandra 3-1 last weekend.
