Preston North End defender Kacper Pasiek has extended his loan at Warrington Town until the end of the season, as announced by the club’s official website.

Preston North End have given the youngster the green light to stay with the non-league side for longer.

Pasiek, 18, linked up with the National League North outfit in February and has since made five appearances for them.

The Lilywhites have confirmed he will return to Deepdale in late April now.

Preston let Pasiek head out the exit door on a temporary basis to get some experience under his belt.

His time at Warrington will be doing him good and will be boosting his development. He will benefit a lot more from playing first-team football in the sixth tier as opposed to just with the development squad.

The fact his loan club wanted to keep hold of him shows that he is doing well there at the moment and the switch suits all parties involved.

The versatile defender, who can play at left-back or in the centre-back, is currently a second year scholar at Preston and will be keen to earn himself his first professional deal later this year.

Pasiek joined the Lilywhites at the age of nine and has since risen up through their academy ranks. He is awaiting his first-team debut for Ryan Lowe’s side.

He has been a key player for the Under-19’s in this campaign and has scored an impressive 10 goals in 29 matches to date.

Preston are back in action this weekend with an away trip to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle. They are currently sat in 10th place in the Championship table and are five points off the play-offs with 10 games left.
