‘Made to work for it’ – Bradford City vs Forest Green Rovers prediction: The72

The72’s writers offer their Bradford City vs Forest Green Rovers prediction ahead of the League Two clash on Tuesday.

Bradford City won 3-0 away at Accrington Stanley last time out. Tyreik Wright scored twice for the Bantams, whilst Andy Cook got their other one.

Graham Alexander’s side are sat in 12th place in the table. They are five points off the play-offs with 11 games left of the season to play.

As for Forest Green Rovers, they are currently fighting to preserve their League Two status. Steve Cotterill’s men are 23rd and are in the drop zone with Sutton United.

However, they are only two points behind Colchester United in 22nd now. They won 2-0 at home to Walsall over the weekend.

Here, a handful of our writers make their predictions for the game…

Harry Mail

“This will be a tough game for Bradford City against a Forest Green Rovers side who are fighting for their lives.

The Bantams still have a really strong chance of getting into the play-offs this season if they can stay consistent between now and the end of the campaign.

I think their upcoming opponents will give them a really close game as they will be in confident mood after beating Walsall.

However, in the end I can see the hosts just edging this one. They are unbeaten in their last six league games and are carrying momentum.”

James Ray

“Given the form they’re in, I think Bradford City will emerge victorious here. However, I can see them really being made to work for it tomorrow night.

“Cotterill has done a great job in toughening up this Forest Green side and they’ve got some real fight in them. It’s not out of the question that they pull off an unlikely survival, though defeat here would be a blow.

“Ultimately I think the hosts will just be able to edge it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended level.”
