‘Turned a corner’ – Bradford City vs Doncaster Rovers prediction: The72

The72’s writers offer their Bradford City vs Doncaster Rovers prediction ahead of the League Two clash on Tuesday.

Bradford City haven’t played a League Two game since 17th February. They will be itching to return to the action.

The Bantams are sat in 15th place in the table. Graham Alexander’s side are eight points off the play-offs but have games in hand on the teams above them.

As for Doncaster, they 20th but are comfortably above the drop zone now. It has been a tricky season for the Yorkshire club but Grant McCann has managed to steady the ship.

They were beaten 3-1 away at Walsall last time out. Kyle Hurst scored their goal against the Saddlers as they look to bounce back in their upcoming game.

This is a tough one to call. Bradford City haven’t played for a while so it may take them time to get back to full speed.

The Bantams still have a decent chance of making the play-offs if they can hit form between now and the end of the season.

As for Doncaster Rovers, they have turned a corner under Grant McCann and are safe. Prior to their loss at Walsall, they were on a decent run so they could be tricky opponents for Graham Alexander’s side.

“However, I’m edging for a narrow home win.”

Bradford City vs Doncaster Rovers prediction: 2-1

James Ray

“It’s a shame Bradford City have had this spell without a league game, as they’d built up some good momentum. Now, time will tell if they’re better for this break or if they’ve lost a bit of the steam they’d gathered.

“Doncaster have put together a good run of their own too, building out that gap between themselves and the drop. After the Walsall tie, they’re in for another tricky game here though.

“Time will tell just how the Bantams perform but they should have enough to get the job done, further closing the gap to the League Two play-off spots. I’ll say they win 2-1 tomorrow night.”
