Liam Roberts will keep his place between the sticks as he looks to continue his solid showings.

Donovan Pines and Josh Earl were both brought in from DC United and Fleetwood Town respectively in January and the defensive pair have slotted in nicely into Barnsley’s backline as they chase down the top two.

Players like Luca Connell, Phillips and Herbie Kane should arguably be playing a higher level than the third tier and they all inject quality into Collins’ ranks, as do Nicky Cadden and Jordan Williams from full-back up down the flanks.

Devante Cole has enjoyed an impressive season to date and the Tykes could face a battle to keep hold of him this summer with his contract at Oakwell up in late June.

As for John McAtee, he has been a hit on loan from Luton Town and will be eager to add to his goal tally from this term against Wycombe.
