Norwich City cut ties with the stopper at the end of the last Championship season following the expiration of his contract.

New home for ex-Norwich City man

Blair’s move abroad is a chance for him to get experience life in a different country and he will be pleased to have finally sorted himself a new club after over six months without one.

He rose up through the academy ranks at Norwich and represented them at various youth levels. However, he never made a senior appearance for the East Anglian outfit.

Instead, the ‘keeper had loan spells away in non-league at Bury Town and King’s Lynn Town to get some experience under his belt before the Canaries made the tough decision to let him leave last June.

KR Reykjavik play their football in the Besta deild karla which is the top tier in Icelandic football. They finished 6th in the table last year.

Blair’s former club Norwich are currently aiming to get into the play-offs in this campaign under the guidance of David Wagner.

They are 7th in the table and are three points behind 6th position Hull City with 12 games left of this term to play.

The Canaries drew 1-1 away at Blackburn Rovers last time out and are back in action this weekend with a home clash against Sunderland.
