BLOOPER OF THE WEEKEND: Leeds awful defensive mistake
It’s worrying that when you’ve got lots of Italian imports in your team that even they can’t communicate with each other clearly. An almighty mix-up between Giuseppe Bellusci, who didn’t clear the ball, and Marco Silvestri, who came miles out of his area, conspired to allow Kenwyne Jones the easiest of goals he’s likely to score this season.
It couldn’t come at a worse time, Neil Redfern’s first official game as manager had started badly but his side were back in the game at 2-1 until this blunder killed off the game. Leeds are still hovering between hopeful and hopeless this season, if they can stop these silly mistakes they could make a decent fist of this league but as it stands, they’ll continue to fluctuate.
