GOAL OF THE WEEKEND: Andy Mangan – Shrewsbury Town
A lovely goal from the man that made Chelsea fans sweat in midweek, Andy Mangan scored again to help his side turn around the game against Dagenham and Redbridge despite being down to 10 men. A lofted, bouncing ball was hit on the half volley by Mangan, the ball flying past the goalkeeper into the top corner, a sublime little strike.
It was a great result that showed the team’s character and their depth after their midweek adventure, Micky Mellon will be delighted that his boys haven’t had any cup hangover. The three points lifts them into third, more goals from Mangan could really help the Shrews jump straight back to League One.
