After five games of the 2023/24 Championship campaign, John Eustace’s Birmingham City sit in 4th place of the table with 11 points to their name.
It comes after a summer of spending at Birmingham City with Blues bringing in a horde of new players, dipping into their pockets to bring in the likes of Dion Sanderson and more.

Maxime Colin
Former fan favourite Maxime Colin sealed a move to Ligue 1 side FC Metz where he’s since made three appearances in the French top flight.
Harlee Dean
Former Blues skipper Harlee Dean dropped down a division to join League One side Reading on a free transfer this summer.
Troy Deeney
Troy Deeney also dropped down the leagues this summer, securing a surprise role as player/coach at League Two side Forest Green Rovers; he’s scored one in three league outings so far.
George Friend
George Friend is another now playing in League One; he signed for Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers on a free transfer.
Jordan Graham
Jordan Graham is yet another released Blues player now playing in the third tier of English football, having signed for Leyton Orient following their promotion from League Two.
Kevin Long
Kevin Long was initially released by Blues but later re-signed for the club, and he’s since played an important part in this positive start to the season.
