The summer transfer window ended last week. But already, Lincoln City have announced their first January signing.
Young Irishman Jack Moylan is set to join the club in the New Year. The attacking midfielder will leave Shelbourne to join up with the Imps on January 1st, and it shows the eagerness that Lincoln boast int he transfer market.
Mark Kennedy often hailed the club’s aggression in the transfer window this summer. Lincoln City got the bulk of their business done early before utilising the loan market in the latter stages, bringing in Jack Vale on loan from Blackburn Rovers at the death.
Here we take a look at all the ins and outs at Lincoln City this summer…

“Lincoln City showed how efficiently run and ambitious they are this summer. Whilst they didn’t blow the transfer market away, they made some very shrewd signings early on, identifying targets and getting them over the line quickly.
“Names like Lukas Jensen and Ethan Hamilton have slotted into the side seamlessly, and the loan contingency look set to play an important role this season too.
“And the Imps did well to get through the summer with very little interest in their key players. That’s not a discredit to the players, but Kennedy will be delighted to still have the likes of Danny Mandroiu and Paudie O’Connor at the club; the latter was linked with a Championship move at one point.
“All in all, a successful window for Lincoln City, who look set to challenge for a spot in the top six this season.”
