‘Set the score straight’ – Huddersfield Town v Norwich City prediction: The72

Huddersfield Town host Norwich City in the Championship tomorrow night.

Huddersfield enter the midweek run of fixtures only off the bottom of the table on goal difference – with a six-point gap to safety.

The Terriers suffered their third defeat in four games at the weekend as they lost 1-0 to West Brom at The Hawthorns, with Neil Warnock’s side failing to score in those previous four outings.

Norwich City also endured a frustrating weekend as they lost their play-off spot after suffering defeat at home to previously out of form Sunderland – dropping to 7th place in the table and two points behind the play-off places.

David Wagner’s side had won their last three games before Sunderland’s visit, seeing their momentum stopped dead in its tracks.

Ahead of the game, a couple of our writers gave their predictions…

Cameron Winstanley

“Norwich will be out to set the score straight after the weekend’s shock defeat that saw the form table flipped on its head.

“The Canaries have been impressive under Wagner and could bury Huddersfield if the Terriers aren’t at the races.

“With ten games to go, Warnock will be hoping his side finally comes alive but they’ll likely be right up against it again. I don’t hold much hope that Huddersfield can turn their form around tomorrow.”

Scored prediction: Huddersfield Town 0-2 Norwich City

Who is this?

James Ray

“It’s really not looking good for Huddersfield. I think people expected Warnock to have a quicker impact on his return but they’re now four games without a win and with Cardiff and Rotherham putting distance between themselves and the drop, it’s not looking good for the Terriers.

“They’re up against a Norwich City side that will be determined to bounce back from their defeat to Sunderland too as they fight for the play-offs, so I can’t see them getting any favours from former boss Wagner here.

“This should be a fairly routine win for the visitors in my opinion.”

Score prediction: Huddersfield Town 0-2 Norwich City
