QPR host Watford in the Championship this afternoon.
QPR welcome Watford to west London in the Championship today. The Hornets sacked Slaven Bilic and replaced him with Chris Wilder earlier in the week, with this game being Wilder’s first in charge of the club.
For Gareth Ainsworth, it’s a third game in charge of QPR after losing his opening two by 3-1 scorelines. The R’s sit in 20th place of the table as things stand, with just seven points separating them and Blackpool in 22nd – QPR are without a win in their last 12 league games.
QPR team news
West London Sport revealed ahead of this weekend that Lyndon Dykes could feature this weekend after his battle with pneumonia.
Elsewhere, Ilias Chair, Ethan Laird, and Kenneth Paal all face late fitness checks, whilst Leon Balogun and Jake Clarke-Salter remain sidelined – Balogun though is closing in on a return to action, Ainsworth revealed earlier in the week.
Tyler Roberts has returned to Leeds United to step up his recovery from injury, with Chris Willock still sidelined.
Predicted XI

Dickie
Drewe

Johansen
Iroegbunam

QPR had to field a makeshift back-four v Rotherham last time out, with Osman Kakay playing on the left and Aaron Drewe on the right – if Paal and Laird are unavailable for tomorrow, expect to see the same back-four.
Elsewhere, we shouldn’t see to many changes given the lack of options for Ainsworth right now, but one change we could see is Sinclair Armstrong coming into the XI for Albert Adomah, with Armstrong having made his return to action v Rotherham.
Today’s game kicks off at 3pm.
