Norwich City host Sunderland in the Championship tomorrow.
The Canaries sit in 6th place of the table ahead of this one. Norwich City have won their last three, having beat Millwall in their last outing to move up into the play-off spots.
Sunderland come to Carrow Road on the back of some poor form having lost their last three in the Championship, with injuries having taken over the Black Cats squad in recent weeks.
Norwich City team news
The big bit of team news for Norwich City ahead of this one is that Josh Sargent is in contention to feature after missing the last three with an ankle injury.
Elsewhere, David Wagner revealed yesterday that Gabriel Sara missed raining on Monday and Tuesday through illness, but that he’s since returned. The likes of Przemyslaw Placheta, Sam Byram, Isaac Hayden, and Jonathan Rowe remain sidelined for longer periods of time.
Despite an impressive performance v Millwall last time out, we could see a couple of changes for tomorrow’s starting XI.
If Sara isn’t fit to start then Marcelino Nunez could come in for a straight swap. Elsewhere, Marquinhos in for Adam Idah could be a smart change for Wagner, with Sargent likely to start on the bench if he’s fit to return to the side.
The game kicks off at 12pm tomorrow and it will be shown live on Sky Sports.
