Stoke City host Blackburn Rovers in the Championship tonight.
Stoke City welcome an in form Blackburn Rovers side to the bet365 Stadium tonight, for what should be an interesting clash in the Championship.
Alex Neil’s side go into this game on the back of a 5-1 win at Sunderland last time out in what was perhaps their best performance of the season so far. Stoke now sit in 16th place of the table having won three of their last five in the league – a win tonight could lift them as high as 13th.
Blackburn meanwhile sit in 4th place of the table – unbeaten in their last 11 in all competitions and having won their last five in all competitions.
Stoke City team news
Stoke City will be without on loan goalkeeper Matija Sarkic for this one, with the shot-stopper looking set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a suspected quad injury.
Elsewhere, the club has revealed that Ben Wilmot faces a late fitness check, but that Axel Tuanzebe will be involved.
Nick Powell remains a longer-term absentee for the Potters.

Neil won’t want to change too much from the win over Sunderland. He’ll be forced into at least one change though with Jack Bonham in line to replace Sarkic, and another potential change could be Morgan Fox coming in for Wilmot if he’s not fit to start.
Elsewhere, we should see an unchanged side for Stoke City who look to have improved in recent weeks, but who face a very in form Blackburn Rovers side tonight.
The game kicks off at 8pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
