Sunderland suffered defeat at home to Stoke City on Saturday, with former boss Alex Neil’s side putting five past the Black Cats.
It was certainly a day to forget for Sunderland who’ve now lost their last three in the Championship. But they remain in 10th place of the table and having only secured promotion from League One last season, their season so far can be deemed as a strong one.
