Hull City host West Brom in the Championship on Friday night.
Hull City enter the weekend’s fixtures in 16th place and boast an 11-point cushion between themselves and the relegation zone. The 1-0 defeat away at Bristol City on the weekend made it four games without a win, a run that has seen them score just two goals.
West Brom find themselves in a contrasting position with it all still to play for in the play-off push. A win could take them to 8th and just three points off the top six. The Baggies got back to winning ways against 3rd placed Middlesbrough last week, putting an end to a run of three games without a win.

“With West Brom picking up a massive confidence boosting win against Middlesbrough on the weekend, they will be heading into this clash full of confidence, and they’ll know all about the league position that a win will take them into, needing no extra motivation.
“Although the Baggies are far from the best travellers in the division, last winning away from home in the middle of January, Hull’s poor home record won’t give their fans much reason to feel confident.
“The Tigers are in a rut and could be in trouble against a buoyed-up Baggies side, West Brom should come and take all three points and move on the cusp of the play-offs.”

“If West Brom are to break into the top-six this season, they’re going to need to put a winning run together.
“That victory over Middlesbrough could be a catalyst for the rest of the season and against a Hull City side struggling for form, this is a great chance to make it two wins in a row. All that said, I’m not convinced they can quite get it done here.
“Yes, Hull are struggling but they’re a tough side to overcome at home, and with the Baggies’ poor away record in mind, I think both sides might have to settle for a point.”
