Five Stoke City players who are out of contract in June

Stoke City have a number of players who are out of contract in June. Here are five who face uncertain futures with Michael O’Neill’s side-

Adam Federici- The experienced goalkeeper could move on this summer to help cut costs. The Potters currently have two other senior ‘keepers in Jack Butland and last year’s recruit Adam Davies and may allow Federici to depart on a free transfer.

Stephen Ward- He is having to wait on his future at the Bet365 Stadium with his current deal coming to an end soon. The Republic of Ireland international joined Stoke last summer from Burnley having also played in the past for Wolves and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Mame Biram Diouf- His six year stay in Staffordshire is likely to end this summer. The 32 year old has made over 150 appearances for the Potters since signing in 2014 from Hannover 96 and has scored 25 goals. However, he has not been a regular this term in the Championship.

Tre Pemberton- He has been a regular for Stoke Under-23’s this season but his long-term future at the club currently hangs in the balance. He is now 21 and may have to weigh up his options over the coming couple of months. His next move will be massive in his career.

Ollie Shenton- Big things were tipped for the central midfielder when he signed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Potters at the age of 18. However, now 22, Shenton has been playing out on loan in the National League North this season with Kidderminster Harriers.
