Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham set to join Borussia Dortmund in record £30million deal

Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham is set to join Borussia Dortmund in a record £30million deal according to German outlet Sport Bild.

Bellingham has had a real breakthrough season with Blues and become a crucial cog in their midfield and at just 16-years-old has won a huge amount of admirers.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all believed to be interested in the young starlet but it appears the latest news surrounding his future indicates he is set for a move abroad to Germany.

Dortmund already have an array of young talent including Jadon Sancho but with his future under intense speculation, they could be looking to replace him with Bellingham.

The German giants are prepared to break their record transfer fee to win the race to sign him in a deal worth €35million which equates to around £30million.

Bellingham, who has scored three goals and contributed three assists in 31 Championship matches so far this campaign is thought to be an ideal fit for Dortmund who are renowned for nurturing young talent such as Sancho.

They have also bought in striker Erling Haaland who has been in scintillating goalscoring form so far and has already scored nine goals in seven appearances as well as ten goals in seven Champions League appearances for both Red Bull Salzburg and Dortmund.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with Bellingham but should reports in Germany be correct it seems as though he is on his way to the Bundesliga.

The teenager has been capped for England at youth level and the midfielder who hails from Stourbridge is undoubtedly one of the brightest young talents in the game.
