West Ham United have made a bid of around £22million for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen as they look to oust Crystal Palace according to The Daily Mail.
Palace had a bid of £16million plus add-ons accepted for the starlet yesterday however West Ham have seemingly scuppered the deal as they aim to win the race for him.
However, Bowen would reportedly prefer a move to the Hammers and could earn up to £60,000 a week at the London Stadium.
The Eagles are bound to be disappointed should they lose out on the Championship star to their London rivals especially after having a bid accepted by the Tigers.
West Ham are eager to bring in further striking options following their poor start to the season and see Bowen as an ideal addition to bolster their ranks for the second half of the campaign.
The likes of Sebastien Haller, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals have flattered to deceive for much of the season and David Moyes is looking to bring in British youngsters to improve his squad.
Hull also expect to see Kamil Grosicki finalise his move to West Bromwich Albion for £800,000. The Polish winger is undergoing a medical this morning which could see Hull lose two of their star players right at the end of the transfer window.
Manager Grant McCann must act quickly if he is to replace his two star names before the window slams shut if he wishes to ensure his squad don’t suffer their absence during the rest of the season.
