West Bromwich Albion have completed the signing of Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki as confirmed on their official website.
The experienced winger, who has seven goals and five assists already this season, arrives at the Baggies with a wealth of Championship experience.
Grosicki has signed for a fee believed to be in the region of £800,000 which appears to be a fantastic piece of business considering his undoubted quality.
The Polish international has signed an 18-month contract at the club and could make his debut against Luton Town on Saturday in front of the Albion faithful.
Grosicki has earned 73 caps for Poland and is the most productive Championship midfielder since the beginning of 2019 – with 14 goals and 13 assists to his name in the last 12 months highlighting the calibre of the winger.
Grosicki has expressed his delight at having signed for West Brom. “I’m very happy to have joined West Brom,” he said. “Obviously the target here is promotion and I am ready to play for the team now. I am fit and ready.”
“Now I am ready to work with the manager and the players to play my part. Slaven Bilic is not someone I have worked with in the past but I obviously know him and his record. I have spoken to him and he is a very good man.”
“I am excited to get started and am looking forward to meeting the fans tomorrow. This is an exciting opportunity for me.”
The West Brom fans were clearly impressed with the club’s business in bringing Grosicki to the club and took to social media to have their say.
