Millwall defender on the radar of ‘whole host of EFL clubs’

Millwall defender Harry Ransom is on the radar of a ‘whole host of EFL club’s according to Football League World.

The youngster has impressed for the Lions’ youth team this season and this has alerted clubs in the English Football League over a potential loan move in January.

Ransom joined Millwall from Eastbourne Borough who he played regularly for in his spell there but he has so far been unable to break into the first team at The Den.

Shaun Hutchinson, Alex Pearce and Jake Cooper are currently occupying the defensive positions and a loan move away might be the best choice for the 19-year-old centre back in order to gain regular first-team football.

In the summer of 2019 he was handed a professional contract at Millwall and should he go out on loan he will be eager to impress manager Gary Rowett as he attempts to eventually break into the first team picture at the London club.

Ransom is known for being particularly good at tackling and having tactical awareness for someone of his age.

It is unknown which clubs are looking at a move for Ransom but it appears there will be real competition for his signature this January.

The Lions have been in good form in recent weeks with the appointment of Rowett seemingly having given them a lift and they will look to continue this when they take on Barnsley at the weekend.
