Bristol Rovers will be in the hunt for a new manager with Graham Coughlan set to leave for Mansfield Town. Here are five potential candidates to replace him-
Lee Mansell- The 37-year-old has been placed in interim charge of the Pirates. He has worked in their youth set-up since retiring from playing in 2017. The former midfielder spent three seasons at the Memorial Stadium having also had spells at Luton Town, Oxford United and Torquay United in the past.
Ian Holloway- The experienced boss will be linked with a return to Bristol Rovers now. He had three separate spells as a player with them and started his managerial career there. Could he return to management with his former side?
Nigel Adkins- He is looking to get back into the dugout after leaving Hull City at the end of last season. The former Scunthorpe United, Southampton, Sheffield United and Reading manager is an option for Bristol Rovers and could be interested in their vacancy.
Paul Tisdale- The 46-year-old was sacked by fellow League One side MK Dons at the start of November and is available. He guided the Dons to promotion from League Two last season having previously spent twelve years in charge of Exeter City.
Ian Evatt- His Barrow side are currently top of the National League and he is gaining a decent reputation as a manager. Could he be considered for the Rovers’ post?
