Speaking to Examiner Live, Huddersfield Town boss Danny Cowley has said that Terriers trio Isaac Mbenza, Herbert Bockhorn and Reece Brown can all leave the club in the January transfer window.
With the January transfer window just around the corner, Huddersfield Town boss Danny Cowley is preparing for his first transfer window in charge of the Terriers. Cowley will be hoping to bring in some new faces and move on some players and now, he has confirmed three players are available for transfer.
Isaac Mbenza, Herbert Bockhorn and Reece Brown – who all joined the club in the summer transfer window – have all been told that they can leave the club this January. Mbenza initially joined on loan in August 2018 but his move was only made permanent this summer, while Brown and Bockhorn also look set to bring their short stints at the club to an end.
Speaking to Examiner Live, Cowley said:
“They are not available for selection at the moment. They are training with a view to potentially being able to be in a position where we can help them find another club come January. The lines of communication are always open and they are always clear. It’s never personal.
“I always say the players are paid to train and we are paid to select the team. It is their responsibility to train and play at their very best. We are looking to create a culture here, I think that’s really, really important. We have values we live and die by. They are non-negotiable.”
