West Brom and West Ham United could engage in player swap deal

West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United could engage in a player swap deal involving Grady Diangana and Nathan Holland according to Football Insider.

The Hammers are considering all their options following the impressive form of Diangana at the Hawthorns so far this season.

Holland is also deployed as a winger but naturally Diangana has hit the ground running and has forged great partnerships with the Albion players whereas there is no guarantee that Holland would have the same impact.

The Premier League club secured a mid-season recall clause in Diangana’s season-long loan to West Brom which can be activated in the first two weeks of January.

Hammers boss, Manuel Pellegrini, is frustrated at the lack of killer instinct and impact from his senior attacking midfielders with Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini, Pablo Fornals and Jack Wilshere all having not been at the top of their game so far this campaign.

Slaven Bilic would of course be hugely disappointed to lose the talented 21-year-old Diangana but his connections with the London club may be the reason for them looking to ease the burden on the Baggies.

Diangana has scored four goals and created three assists so far this season and is consistently being hailed by pundits as currently one of the best players in the division.

Pellegrini could be leading to making the exchange decision as well as bringing in other forward to bolster his attack for the second half of the season.

So far in ten Premier League games they have only found the net 12 times and this is becoming a growing concern to the Chilean.
