Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham United in the race for Millwall youngster

Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham United are all in the race to sign Millwall youngster Chris Ojeme according to All Nigeria Soccer.

The Gunners are said to be leading the race to Ojeme who has been likened to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

The two Manchester clubs are also said to be keen on the teenager who doesn’t turn 16 until 2021 but has emerged as a huge talent at the London club.

Such is his progress and clear talent, he is expected to play for Millwall’s Under-18 side before the end of the season.

Sancho began his career at Watford being transferring to Manchester City however it was his move to the German club which truly allowed him to flourish and he has since gone on to appear for England at international level.

Ojeme is also open to representing England youth teams but he hopes to turn out for the Super Eagles when he begins playing first-team football.

It is believed that Ojeme could be of a similar level of talent in a few years which is the reason for such high profile clubs being interested in him.

Arsenal and Liverpool have already missed out on another Millwall winger of Nigerian descent, with Samuel Edozie joining Manchester City instead.

With the Hammers also interested it is thought to be unlikely that the Lions would wish to sell one of their biggest assets to their stern rivals.

The Premier League sides have sent scouts to watch Ojeme and have reportedly been impressed with the performances they have seen and believe him to be a real star for the future.
