Kasey Palmer set for Bristol City medical

Kasey Palmer spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Ashton Gate and looks likely to return after agreeing on medical terms yesterday and going for a medical at the club today, however this time it will be a permanent move.

With the sale of Adam Webster looking likely, Bristol City have a lot of money to spend, and the first signing they will make with that money is likely to be Kasey Palmer from Chelsea. Palmer will be the third Chelsea player of the transfer window that has signed for Bristol City if he does, along with Tomas Kalas and Jay DaSilva.

Palmer was a good player for City last season and will certainly be another good addition of many this transfer window for the Robins. Although he went on a preseason tour with Chelsea it looks like Palmer would prefer a move as he won’t get much game time whereas at a championship team he will.

Palmer became a fan favourite straight away at Bristol City when he scored on his debut against Bolton Wanderers to win the game for the Robins. I’m sure that if Palmer returned all Bristol City fans would be happy.

Being a Bristol City fan, I am delighted to be hearing that Palmer is having a medical with the club, he may not be a player that we need desperately like a striker, however, nobody will be disappointed at the signing of such a great skilful player. What are your thoughts Bristol City fans?
