Fulham’s 16-year-old starlet Harvey Elliott is set to make a move away from the Championship club this season, with Premier League side and Champions League winners Liverpool his said destination.

The Telegraph has reported that Fulham are set to lose young star Harvey Elliott this summer, with a number of top European sides vying for the 16-year-old’s signature. Now, it seems that his destination has been decided, with a move to Premier League side Liverpool reportedly set for completion.

A host of top European sides were keen to bring in Elliott this summer, with it being covered here on The72 that Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid were set to rival Liverpool for the starlet’s signature, with the latter winning the chase.

French outfit Paris Saint Germain were also credited with interest in England youth international Elliott this summer, as were German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. But despite foreign interest, it seems set that the youngster will remain in England with Liverpool.

Elliott’s name was first heard when he became the youngest player to ever play for Fulham and the youngest player to play in the EFL Cup, coming off the bench in a 3-1 win over Millwall at the age of just 15 years and 174 days. He went on to make his Premier League debut in May 2019, coming off the bench against Wolves, becoming the youngster player in Premier League history in doing so.

He also came off the bench in the Cottagers’ 4-0 loss to Newcastle United on the final day of the season – and that looks to be his last game in Fulham colours.
