According to respected journalist Phil Hay, Leeds United duo Yosuke Ideguchi and Caleb Ekuban are both set to make imminent moves away from Elland Road, with official announcements not far away.
Ideguchi going back to Gamba Osaka, Ekuban joining Trabzonspor. Should be announced pretty soon.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is looking to clear the deadwood out of his squad once again this summer, with departures on the cards for the likes of Hadi Sacko, Laurens De Bock and Vurnon Anita. Two more players that are reportedly set for the exit door at Elland Road are midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi and striker Caleb Ekuban.
We reported here on The72 earlier this summer that Japanese midfielder Ideguchi was attracting interest from J-League side Gamba Osaka, the club who Leeds United purchased him from back in 2017. Now, as stated by Hay, a departure is imminent.
Ekuban too has been heavily linked with a move away after a highly disappointing time as a Leeds United player. He was shipped out on loan to Turkish side Trabzonspor last summer as part of Bielsa’s summer clearout, and the Ghanaian striker looks set to return to Trabzonspor, but this time on a permanent basis.
Ideguchi will leave Leeds United without playing a single game for the club. He spent time out on loan with Cultural Leonesa and Greuther Furth, struggling with serious injury problems over the course of the last few seasons.
Ekuban’s time at Elland Road has hardly been successful either. In his first season after joining the club in the summer of 2017, the striker scored just two goals in 21 games. He has enjoyed a more successful stint in Turkey this season and will be hoping a permanent move can be completed imminently.
