Some details of the youngster’s detail with his new club have also emerged. McKinstry joins the club on a scholarship deal, which will then become a professional contract when he turns 17 in September of this year, tying him down to the club for three years. The deal includes a clause in which Motherwell will be entitled to a cut of the money received should Leeds move on the youngster in the future.
