Stoke City to kick-start summer recruitment- Five signings in the pipeline

Stoke City are looking to get busy in the transfer market.

The Potters’ boss Nathan Jones is keen to lay the foundations as he targets a promotion push. Here are five signings they have in the pipeline-

Adam Davies- Jack Butland is expected to move back to the Premier League so Davies, who is a Wales international, is being tipped as his replacement. The 26-year-old shot stopper has impressed for the Tykes over recent seasons and helped them gain promotion from League One in the last campaign.

Lee Gregory, Millwall- He is leaving Millwall after five years at The Den and could be on his way to the Bet365 Stadium. Gregory has scored 77 goals in 238 games altogether for the Lions and would offer Stoke more depth and options in the attacking department.

Nick Powell- The former Crewe Alexandra and Manchester United has been a man in-demand this summer with his contract at Wigan Athletic running down at the end of the month. It appears the Potters have won the race to sign him.
